Welcome to Nechells Primary E-ACT Academy.
Our school is very important and belongs to the community, parents, children, governors and staff. We aim to work as a team ensuring success for all. To maximise the education for our children it is important that we share all our knowledge, energy and resources.
Update on our Local Governing Body
We are pleased to announce that following a consultation exercise between the governors of Nechells E-ACT Primary Academy, Mansfield Green E-ACT Primary Academy and Heartlands Academy, a single combined Local Governing Body has been established. The combined Local Governing Body will be chaired by Peter Fair, former Chair of the Local Governing Body at Heartlands Academy.
A combined Local Governing Body will provide the opportunity for a strong, well-focused forum that has overarching responsibility for driving improvement across all three academies. This new governance arrangement aims to draw on the strengths of the Heartlands Local Governing Body –recently judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for its role in leadership and management – and improve the shared learning of all Governors, teachers and students. The move to a combined Local Governing Body is part of E-ACT’s wider aim to maximise on the strengths within the E-ACT group of academies.
